Mushroom Paradise

As I jump through the world of the Mushroom Kingdom

I take a look at my life and realize I'm real dumb-

'Cause I've been smashin' and squashin' so long that

Even Bro Luigi thinks that my mind is gone

But I ain't never stomped a koopa that didn't deserve it

Me be treated like a goomba, you know that's unheard-uh'

You better watch how you jumpin' and where you spittin'

Or you and your homies might find pit to get in

I really hate to trip, but I got new power

As they go up in smoke, I see myself in the fire flower

Fool, I'm the kinda plumbuh the little homies wanna be like

On my knees in the pipes, sprayin' fireballs in the cheeps' eyes

Been spendin' most their lives

Livin' in a mushroom paradise

Been spendin' most their lives

Livin' in a mushroom paradise

Keep spendin' most our lives

Livin' in a mushroom paradise

Keep spendin' most our lives

Livin' in a mushroom paradise

Look at the situation they got me facing

I can't live a normal life, I was raised by the pipes

So I gotta be down with the 'shroom life

Too much video game playin', got me chasing blight

I'm an educated fool with coins on my mind

Got ninety nine in my hand and a gleam in my eye

I'm a loc'd out plumber, set trippin' wonder

And my homies is down, so don't arouse my thunder

Fool, death ain't nothin' but a koopa away

I'm livin' life do or die, what can I say?

I'm 23 now but will I live to see 24?

The way things is going I don't know

Tell me why are we so blind to see

That the ones we hurt are you and me?

Been spendin' most their lives

Livin' in a mushroom paradise

Been spendin' most their lives

Livin' in a mushroom paradise

Keep spendin' most our lives

Livin' in a mushroom paradise

Keep spendin' most our lives

Livin' in a mushroom paradise

Power and the coinage, coinage and the power

Minute after minute, hour after hour

Everybody's jumpin', but half of them ain't catchin'

It's going on in the castle, but I don't know what's hatchin'

They say I gotta learn, but nobody's here to teach me

If they can't understand it, how can they reach me?

I guess they can't, I guess they won't

I guess they front, that's why I know my life is out of luck, fool

Been spendin' most their lives

Livin' in a mushroom paradise

Been spendin' most their lives

Livin' in a mushroom paradise

Keep spendin' most our lives

Livin' in a mushroom paradise

Keep spendin' most our lives

Livin' in a mushroom paradise

Tell me why are we so blind to see

That the ones we hurt are you and me?

Tell me why are we so blind to see

That the ones we hurt are you and me?

 "D.n.D":

Dice! Dice! Dice! Dice! Dice! Dice! Dice! Dice! Dice! Dice! Dice! Dice! Dice! Dice! Dice! Dice!

See me stride out of the kitchen

On your little cellphone screen

Out for all that I can get

If you know what I mean

Dungeons to the left of me

And dragons to the right

Ain't got no bow

Ain't got no knife

Don't you start no fight

'Cause it's DnD, I'm rollin' the dice

DnD, and I'll win the fight

DnD, I'm a ranged Weretoad

DnD, Nat 20 Roll!

I'm dirty, mean, I'm mighty unclean

I'm a wanted toad

Public enemy number one

Get the load?

So lock up your mimics

Lock up your prize

Lock up your back door

Run for your life

The frog is back in town

So don't you mess me 'round

'Cause it's DnD, I'm rollin' the dice

DnD, and I'll win the fight

DnD, I'm a Battletoad

DnD, watch me explode

DnD

Dice! Dice! Dice!

DnD

Dice! Dice! Dice!

DnD

Dice! Dice! Dice!

DnD

Dice! Dice! Dice!

DnD

Dice! Dice! Dice!

I'm rollin' the dice

DnD

Dice! Dice! Dice!

And I'll win the fight

DnD

Dice! Dice! Dice!

Found a magic geode

DnD, Nat 20 Roll!!!

Oh, sorry, hi Levi, it's Redundant Jovian Thor, just trying to find out if my application went through yet?

I tried calling John but the number was dead.

I'm currently in a blog dimension, just resting up from visiting the, err- one of the many marvel universes (apparently it's actually, functionally, infinite, and Dr weird, or strange or queer or whatever can't imagine more than a handful of that...)

What was I talking about?

Oh yeah.

Love the blog dimension! Can't forget what's written down!

So about my applicat- wait, can you hear me?

Levi?

Chimeras and centaurs

"For my last wish, I wish for an elephant sized dick!"

... Thanks Postal 2, for that idea!!!

The centaur-like smile fruit zoan types in One Piece, primarily the giraffe with a man for a face...

Idub the Elephant man, the WHOLE elephant is his dick, legs, tusks, ears, and trunk, the main body, and the man is just a human stuck at the end of the elephant tail, from his pecker.

I'll come up with worse later, I'm sure. 🫑

Two Piece Man Z: Shippuden DX

 "I'M HUNGRY! SANJI!!!"

Luffy belts out at sunset from the bow of The Thousand Sunny.

Usopp huffs in exasperation, just to his side-rear, fishing.

Nami, too, in her tangerine orchard on the upper deck.

Also Brook, even though he has no lungs, while playing the violin softly on the poop deck.

And Chopper, inside the ship in his medical lab, crushing up medicine in a mortar.

As well as Franky, in the engine room checking and filling cola reserves.

Then robin covers her mouth and stifles a laugh, smiling.

While Jinbei rolls his eyes at the helm and smiles awkwardly.

"GIVE ME MEAT!!!"

Usopp replies "I guess you smell the food Sanji is already cooking, and it smells like it's done, just go sit at the table or something!" Getting up, frustrated, and joining the migrating crew as everyone gathered at the table.
When Sanji bursts out, scolding their captain, "I'm setting the table right now, Luffy!!!!! Quit yer hollering and go eat already!" Unaware that Zoro woke from the crow's nest and jumped down- incidentally(-intentionally)- right behind him. Startling Sanji when he spoke "Oi! Curly-brow!" Glaring at Sanji. He turned quickly and stepped back, glaring back "Mosshead!"

Zoro just smiled wickedly with his lips for a split second, and entered the dining room.

Robin, Chopper, Brook, and Franky were already having polite conversation, patiently seated at the table. Luffy stretches in and snaps into his seat with a crash, pulling Zoro and Sanji in with him, interrupting everyone. Except Nami, who is watering her tangerines and ignoring everyone; fed up with their antics and behavior for the day.

Though fully aware of the commotion, and the (dinner) time.

She sighed and muttered about "being difficult *all* day long" and marches toward the dining room. "I wish I could just get ONE day of peace!" She screamed, halfway there.

Jinbei was only just at the door, entering, and winced; entering to a rowdy crew all over the table and at each other's throats, frozen awkwardly.

Nami was loud enough that everyone else also heard it and stopped arguing and wrestling at the table, suddenly and, somewhat uncharacteristically, self conscious. Doubly so at Jinbei's entry.
Sanji got up and hurried himself with serving.

The sudden quiet was too suspicious for Nami's last nerve and she glared hard at everyone from behind Jinbei while he crossed the threshold and seated himself. Just standing with her hands on her hips. Glaring.

Everyone sunk into seats and looked miserably up at her, pathetically apologetic.

She ignored them.

Seating herself as Sanji served her first with perky enthusiasm, and he finally got caught up with her glare and sulked back, cheering up only after reaching Robin - after Brook, then mosshead, followed by Chopper then Franky.

"Robin chuannnn!" He gleefully greeted her, and received the prize of her smile! Floating happily on to Jinbei then Luffy.

"Hey Sanji, hurry up I'm starving!!!" Was his prize from the captain at placing Jinbei's meal before him.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah you'll get your food!!" He snapped, returning to the kitchen to expertly throw and place a mountain of meat on the middle of the table, to which Luffy was already quickly gobbling up almost as quickly as Sanji tossed it in.

"You know, Sanji; I think you forgot someone" Usopp piped up.

"Then hurry up and grab something before the captain eats it all! Don't distract me!"

"Oi! Curlbrow, that just means you're not training hard enough!" Zoro challenged.

Chopper laughed and book "Yo-ho-ho-ho!"ed.

The meal was normal thereafter.

Luffy stealing other people's food, food fights, laughter, Brook's music, play, and roughhousing to Robin's amusement.

Nobody noticing Nami's quiet departure.

LOONEYFER MORNINGY and BUGS BUNNYSTAR

*KRAKBOOM*

A blast of thunder errenously precedes the blinding flash (this is because Toon Force has become unfettered and unbridled and unleashed by the hand of God) as you are transported into your own imagination to bear witness of the mighty Bugs Bunny in a boxing arena versus Lucifer Morningstar!

Elmer Fudd referees the fight, explaining the rules.

"Ah, uh, now we, can we have a, we want a clean fight here, fellas. Okay?" To which Daffy hollers out, jeering from the audience, "Boooo! Fowl play!" As he anticipated an old trope.

Lucifer ignored Elmer and called upon the Eldritch powers of creation and reality warping to erase the author of this sorry ass story, not knowing that Redundant Jovian Thor is an Omniversal Singularity and incapable of ceasing to exist; I laugh at him and tell him everything's going to be fine, he just had to fight Bugs Bunny!

I throw him back into the story and continue narrating.

Lucifer is furious and wraps his fingers into the very fabric of your imagination, attempting to escape this poorly written story; to no avail.

"Ehhh..." Bugs chews loudly on his carrot. "What's up, doc? It looks like you're trying to pull an Edward Newgate on the poor audience!" He takes another bite, still chewing loudly.
"Childish!" Morningstar retorts. "I will not be humiliated as so!" And he continues clawing at your imagination (don't worry, I'm protecting it with the most perfect plot armor: reasons) in attempt to escape the fight.

"Foolish mortal! How can you keep me here?!?"
Lucifer calls out at me. I ignore him and continue writing. "The Author isn't going to appeal to your demands, you know..." Bugs offhandedly mentioned, noisily finishing the last of his carrot.
"What do you mean 'the author'?!? Is God writing a new story?" Lucifer responded, less furious, more confused.
"You might as well consider him God if you're in his stories, but he's not THAT God! Come on, let's just get it done and over with."

Lucifer enrages and grows twelve times more massive, growing demonic wings and horns, and breaking through the ceiling of the boxing gym! (So rude!)

Bugs whips out a cigar case and retrieves another carrot.

Lucifer's hooved foot lifts to squash Bugs, Bugs eyeballs him sarcastically.
Morningstar thrusts his hoof down, Bugs yawns and bites the carrot.
The foot falls, Bugs raises his eyebrows suggestively.
The foot slams into the arena, through the ring, through the floor, through the foundations, and Lucifer twists his hoof around to finalize the splatter of the cartoon Wabbit.

The pen lifts off the paper, as Bugs finalizes the animation, and the ink sucks Lucifer Morningstar up into the pen, and bugs gives the pen to me.

I think Lucifer might be protesting or complaining or... IDK? Probably trying to escape?

I don't care.

I got a new pen!

THE VERY FIRST GRAND OPENING DEBUT PILOT EPISODE OF REDUNDANT JOVIAN THOR‡
*****************

[Retroactive Continuity insertion]

## Act I: The Infinite Clatter

The Citadel of Ricks was under a code-red reality fracture, but Morty was currently stuck in a nondescript interdimensional space-port diner, hyperventilating. Sitting across from him was a guy who looked like a homeless hippie who had actively lost a fight with a thrift store. He wore cargo shorts, a denim vest, and a faded green stocking cap.

Morty nudged his space-pancake plate. It slipped. The fork fell off the table. Clink.

The hippie immediately gasped, sat straight up, and bellowed into the diner:

"THAT WAS MY FAULT!"

"G-geez, man!" Morty yelled, jumping. "I dropped it! It was me! Why are you screaming?"

The hippie, identifying himself as Redundant Jovian Thor, explained his stylized behavior stemmed from a past job where he managed a soup kitchen. As the encounter progressed, Thor revealed his ability to break all narrative walls and stream his thoughts directly to cosmic deities, stressing Morty's tiny brain.

When Federation bounty hunters arrived, Thor adapted his power to match the "Full Rick Level" of the setting, using his harmonica to manifest a musical force that blasted the threats away. Terrified, Morty frantically summoned Rick.

A portal appeared almost immediately.

Stepping through, Rick arrived, furious, but was immediately confronted by Thor, who perfectly recited the tragic, deeply hidden details of Rick’s past. Unable to lie, Thor revealed that Rick’s intimate backstory was essentially a bootstrap paradox. Exploiting his ability to cause extreme, reality-bending embarrassment, Thor projected a holographic display of Rick's private, humiliating secrets. Overwhelmed by total mortification, Rick grabbed Morty and fled through a portal in a panic.

=====================

## Act II: The Cognitive Multi-Car Pileup

Belching loudly, Rick told Morty to go upstairs.

Rick’s eyes narrowed, his cynical and cybernetically augmented mind scanning Thor’s metaphysical profile. "Oh, I see what you are. A public domain glitch who wandered out of a creative writing forum. Let me guess, you think you're a god because you can read the script?" He monologued to himself.

Or so he thought, startled by Thor's sudden appearance in front of him, "I don't think, Rick. I am," Thor smirked, his eyes flashing with cosmic-level awareness. "Which means the smarter you try to be to defeat me, the more absurdly invincible I become to match it."

Rick grinned a dark, nasty grin. "Oh, really? The smarter I am, the stronger you get? Morty! Get your little yellow-shirted ass in here!"

Morty stumbled down the stairs, tripping on the last step, face first on the floor. Getting up wearily but quickly, "G-geez, Rick, what's going on? Who is this guy? Why does he smell like patchouli and high-voltage ozone?"

"Morty, look at this guy," Rick said, throwing his arms out. "I need you to tell me what his deal is. Use your little Morty brain. Give me a deduction."

Morty blinked, looking Thor up and down. Thor stood tall, radiating the raw, terrifying power of a cosmic creator entity. He was practically humming with the infinite frequency of the universe.

"Uh," Morty rubbed his neck, squinting at Thor's massive, 45-pound weighted denim vest. "Well... he’s wearing a vest... and he's got a harmonica... so... he's obviously a professional, high-end corporate accountant on his way to a dress-casual bank audit."

Thor’s smug smirk instantly froze. His left eye twitched. "Wait. What? No. Look at the context clues, kid. I look like a homeless hippie and I'm carrying a magical weapon disguised as a harmonica."

"Yeah, exactly," Morty nodded confidently, completely misinterpreting the data. "An accountant. Because accountants love numbers, and a harmonica has lines on it like a spreadsheet, and the heavy vest is clearly to protect you from getting audited by the IRS. It's basic math, right Rick." Smirking confidently, Rick joked, belching loudly, "Exactly, Morty."

Thor’s knees locked up. His fingers began to tremble around his harmonica. "Basic math?! That's not a deduction! That's a cognitive trainwreck! You took A and B and concluded that the answer is purple!" Thor said to himself, more than anyone else, to get a better grip on his defenses. "Extrapolate properly, dammit!"

"Don't look at me, pal," Rick chimed in, intentionally playing completely braindead. "The kid's a genius. I mean, look at your hat. It's a green stocking cap. Green is the color of money. Therefore, you are a banker. Wow, Morty, you nailed it. He's a financial advisor."

"STOP IT!" Thor groaned, his body violently stuttering as he fell into a stiff, awkwardly shaped paralysis against the workbench. The sheer, unadulterated agony of encountering two people aggressively making conclusions that fundamentally broke the laws of basic logic was acting like pure OCD kryptonite. "The data... it doesn't correlate! You're forcing a narrative that doesn't fit the dataset! My brain is cringing into a tesseract!" He moaned.

Suddenly, a spectral figure manifested over Thor's right shoulder. It wasn't just a standard shoulder angel; it was Rodney from Ravens Dojo! Thor's ultimate shoulder-angel best frienemesis, representing pure, unfiltered Bloodlust.

Rodney looked at the paralyzed, cringing Thor, then looked at Rick and Morty. He sighed, rubbing his temples. "Look at him. Absolutely pathetic. Pathetic! Hey, Einstein," Rodney yelled in Thor's ear. "Are you really going to let a teenage nervous wreck and a senior citizen with a drinking problem defeat you with bad math? Shake it off and let's go berserk on them! Or crazy! I don't care, just pick one and stop cringing!" Dornail appeared on his left "I chose lust! You can turn this into a sexy situation just by asking if the kid's got a hot mom!" To which Rodney began arguing "sure, but that's more effort than pounding them into a pulp." Shrugging.

"You two need to back off, I can handle this without sex or violence, thank you very much! And, come to think of it, I'm starting to regret volunteering for Godiva's experimental psycholographic shoulder angel mentors... Then again, it's my own fault for picking YOU TWO instead of her and Paige..."

=====================

## Act III: The Inner Committee

"Oh, come on, Rodney," Dornail countered, waving a dismissive hand. "Pounding them into a pulp is messy. Pounding their family tree is pure art."

The pure, concentrated idiocy of his own subconscious mentors finally broke Thor out of his data-paralysis. The sheer cringe of the situation shifted from Morty's terrible math to his own shoulder angels. Thor snapped his head up, his arms flailing as he tried to swat at the two apparitions floating beside his ears.

"You two need to back off, I can handle this without sex or violence, thank you very much!" Thor yelled, then rubbed his temples, his heavy 45-pound denim vest rustling loudly

Rick stood back, his arms crossed, watching the spectacle with a mixture of profound disgust and mild amusement. "Wow. Great. Fantastic. The omniversal god-entity has a literal meltdown happening on his collarbones. Morty, look at this. This is what happens when you don't budget your creative energy properly."

"G-geez, Rick," Morty whispered, backing away slowly. "Are those... are those his conscience? Why is the orange one looking at me like he wants to use my ribcage as a xylophone?"

"Because he's the bloodlust one, Morty! Pay attention!" Thor snapped, pointing accusingly at Rodney, who was currently practicing air-punches in Rick's direction. Thor then pointed at Dornail, who was checking his appearance in the reflection of Thor's platinum harmonica.

"And that's the regular lust one." Rick said, while Thor argued, "I was promised profound psychological guidance, and instead, I got a murder hobo gym bro and a green guy who belongs on a watchlist!"

"Hey!" Rodney barked, pointing accusingly. "I provide results! If you let me take the wheel for five seconds, I'll turn this lab into a Jackson Pollock painting using the old man's liver!"

"And I'd turn it into a beautiful, cross-generational romance!" Dornail chimed in, winking toward a deeply uncomfortable Morty just to make him even more uncomfortable. "Think of the ratings, Thor! Think of the fan-fiction!"

Thor groaned loudly, grabbing his face in his hands. "I can't do this. I literally cannot do this today. I just wanted to flex on Rick because I know his narrative arc, and now I'm stuck mediating a imaginary dispute between a murder-hobo and a horny dragon."

"Uhmm.. those aren't imaginary, by the way" Morty stammered.

==

===================

## Act IV: The Meta-Reset

The sheer, overwhelming noise of Rick’s mockery, Morty’s aggressive misunderstanding, and the screaming match between Rodney and Dornail reached a deafening crescendo. The garage was practically vibrating with weaponized cringe.

Thor closed his eyes. He took a deep breath. He held his platinum harmonica to his lips and blew a single, piercing, omniversal note.

FFFWWWWWUUUUUUUUUUUUUU—

Suddenly, the screen went completely black. The sound cut out entirely.

A white, Helvetica font faded onto the empty screen: THREE HOURS LATER.

The camera slowly panned down. Thor woke up with a gasp, sitting upright in a plush, velvet armchair. He was surrounded by cozy, wood-paneled walls. A fire crackled in a nearby hearth. Sitting on a rug across from him, entirely unbothered, was Rick, sipping tea. Morty was happily playing a handheld video game on the couch.

"Oh, thank god," Thor breathed, rubbing his eyes. "It was all a dream. The Citadel, the bad math, the psycholographic shoulder angels... it was just a highly convoluted, metaphoric manifestation of my subconscious anxiety regarding my public domain status."

The audience watching this could collectively feel their blood pressure spiking. The oldest, laziest, most universally hated writing trope in history—the "it was all a dream" cop-out—had just completely derailed the entire narrative conflict.

Except Rick didn't look like Rick. His face started to stretch. His skin shifted from pale blue-gray to a vibrant gold fur. His lab coat dissolved into a brilliant, red-and-gold silk robe.

"A dream? Bro, are you serious right now?"

It wasn't Rick. It was Sun Wukong, the Monkey King, casually lounging in the chair, spinning a golden staff on his fingertips.

"Wait, what?" Thor blinked, looking around. The cozy room began to warp, revealing a boundless, glowing astral plane. "Where am I? Where's the angry old man?"

"You're in a Deus Ex Macguffin meditation instance, dummy," Wukong laughed, biting into a celestial peach. "We needed a narrative timeout to piss off the audience. Look at them out there, they're absolutely furious. They think we just wasted their time with a fake-out reset. It's hilarious."

Thor slumped back. "Great. A soul pep talk. Is this the part where you teach me the true meaning of friendship so I can defeat Rick's weaponized stupidity?"

"Heck no, I don't care about friendship," Wukong said, hopping onto the back of the armchair and leaning down. "I'm a trickster god, Thor. I'm here to fix your status alignment. You let a teenage anxious wreck put you into a data-paralysis state because he said you looked like an accountant. An accountant, bro. Your passive scaling is pinned to the strongest entity in the room, which means you have the power of a god, but you're letting a mortal's cognitive dissonance dictate your reality."

"It's the incomplete data formatting!" Thor defended himself, his voice cracking. "It's like an unclosed bracket in my soul! It cringes me out!"

"So rewrite the syntax," Wukong shrugged, tapping Thor on the forehead with his staff. "You break reality for a living. If they make a conclusion that doesn't fit the extrapolation, don't let it paralyze you. Turn the bad math into the new rule of law. If they think you're an accountant, start taxing their existence."

Thor’s eyes went wide. The cosmic gears in his brain shifted. The disadvantage status effect shattered like cheap glass.

"Oh," Thor whispered, embarrassed, as a slow, terrifyingly smug grin spreading across his face. "Oh, I see." Embarrassment faded. "Of course! I don't have to resolve the variable. I am the variable."

"Exactly," Wukong smirked, fading into a cloud of gold dust. "Now wake up and go ruin that old scientist's whole career."

=====================

## Act V: Get your act in order!

The astral plane shattered like cheap glass, and Thor slammed back into reality with a violent, full-body jerk. The wood-paneled meditation room, the crackling hearth, and the golden fur of the Monkey King vanished in a flash of cosmic static.

He was right back in the cold, metallic safehouse of Dimension C-131. Rick was still standing there, arms crossed, wearing that smug, self-satisfied grin, confident that his weaponized bad math had completely bricked the visitor's brain. Morty was still hovering in the background, looking deeply confused.

Thor, still completely disoriented from the sudden transition and thinking he was still talking to his trickster-god spirit animal, threw his arms wide.

"Way to go, me! Failing to extrapolate information from incomplete data, MYSELF!" Thor abruptly shouted, his voice echoing off the metallic walls.

The absolute, sheer volume of the shout completely threw Rick off. The old scientist actually stumbled back half a step, his smug grin instantly evaporating into a look of pure, unadulterated bewilderment.

"What—what the hell are you screaming about now?!" Rick barked, adjusting his lab coat as his defenses spiked. "Who are you talking to? There's no one else here but the kid and me! Are you having a literal, public-domain stroke right now?"

"G-geez, Rick," Morty whimpered, shielding his eyes as if expecting Thor to detonate. "I think his accountant brain just hit a tax loophole! He's glitching out!"

But Thor wasn't cringing anymore. Sun Wukong’s advice had taken root. The disadvantage status effect was entirely gone. Thor stood up straight, letting the 45-pound weight of his denim vest settle with a heavy, confident thud. He looked down at Rick, a wild, chaotic spark of meta-fictional clarity burning in his eyes. He had just caught himself falling for his own ultimate kryptonite—and by calling it out, he had completely broken the loop.

"I'm talking to the narrative structure, Rick!" Thor smirked, gripping his platinum harmonica as it hummed with absolute reality-warping authority. "And the narrative says your little cognitive trap just expired."

"Do you know how much you now owe me in existence taxes?"

=====================

## Act VI: The Cosmic Audit

Rick’s eyes widened, his hand dropping down to hover over his portal gun. "Existence taxes? What are you, the Interdimensional Federation’s IRS? I don't pay taxes to anyone, pal, let alone a guy whose power scaling relies on a Creative Commons license."

Thor didn't even blink. He tapped his platinum harmonica against his palm, and the sound resonated through the safehouse like a heavy, bureaucratic gavel slamming down in a courtroom.

Suddenly, the metallic walls of the safehouse began to warp. The glowing green portal fluid in Rick’s gun turned a stark, matte gray. Hundreds of glowing, holographic sheets of cosmic ledger paper cascaded from the ceiling, swirling around Rick’s head like a localized paper tornado.

"Let’s look at the itemized deductions, shall we?" Thor asked, his voice echoing with the authority of an omniversal auditor. "You’ve spent the last seventy years consuming reality juice, skipping out on structural plot-line fees, and completely ignoring the basic physics tariffs of three thousand different dimensions. By my calculations, Rick..."

Thor stepped forward, his 45-pound denim vest rustling loudly as the sheer weight of his newly manifested "Accountant Physics Authority" pinned Rick to the floor.

"Do you know how much you now owe me in existence taxes?"

Rick tried to lift his arm to fire a laser, but his hand was physically weighed down by a massive, glowing red stamp that read PAST DUE. "M-Morty!" Rick choked out, his face turning a light shade of purple under the gravitational pressure of the audit. "Quick! Do... do some more bad math! Tell him he’s a... a professional unicycle rider! Break his syntax again!"

"Uh! Uh!" Morty panicked, waving his hands wildly. "He's—he's not an accountant, Rick! He's a... he's a giant floating blueberry who specializes in underwater basket weaving!"

The cosmic ledger paper flickered, but Thor just shook his head, a giant, smug grin on his face. Thanks to Sun Wukong, the rule of law had changed.

"Nice try, kid," Thor chuckled, adjusting his faded green stocking cap. "But according to Section 4, Paragraph B of the Multiversal Tax Code... Attempting to interfere with an audit already in progress is a felony. That just doubled his fine... And gave me reason to include you in this audit."

=====================

## Act VII: The Final Notice

WHAM.

Morty didn't even have time to scream before the sheer, bureaucratic gravity of the cosmic audit yanked him off his feet, thrusting him flat onto the floor right next to Rick. The plot device spared no one. A massive, glowing red rubber stamp slammed down across Morty’s yellow shirt with a heavy, concussive THUD, sealing him to the ground with the unmistakable words: PAST DUE.

"G-geez, Rick!" Morty groaned, his face pressed against the cold metal, completely immobilized. "I can't move! These taxes are too heavy! I think my ribs are experiencing a fiscal crisis!"

"Shut up, buurrrp Morty," Rick wheezed, his cheek pinned an inch away from Morty's shoe. "It's a temporary structural localization. I just need to... access my back pocket... and call a shell company in Dimension Gamma-7..."

Thor stood over them, looking absolutely radiant in his triumphant absurdity, casually tossing his platinum harmonica. "There are no bailouts here, boys. You're getting liquidated."

*KER-BOOM*!

The heavy steel blast doors of the safehouse didn't just open; they were violently blown inward by a shoulder-mounted particle cannon.

Thor, entirely caught off guard, spun around just as a cloud of smoke surged toward him. He could barely see through the dust but he saw, standing in the doorway, clad in tactical battle armor with a cybernetic arm gleaming under the emergency lights, it was Space Beth.

She wasn't there to save them. She didn't even look at the floor at first. She was just holding her rifle, looking incredibly annoyed, breathing heavily from what looked like a long, cross-galaxy transit.

Before the dust even cleared, her tracking instrument indicated Rick was, indeed, here. "Rick!" Space Beth snapped, lowering her weapon slightly as she entered the room, smoke and dust swirling away. "Do you have any idea how many tracking arrays I had to burn through to find you? Your primary beacons went completely dark three hours ago! I've been flying blind, checking every single random, low-tier hideout you own just to—"

She stopped. Dust and smoke gone, her gaze finally drifted downward.

There was her father, the smartest man in the universe, pinned to the floor like a squashed bug. Next to him was her son, stamped red like an unpaid electric bill. And standing over them both was a guy who looked like a homeless hippie in a 45-pound denim vest, holding a harmonica.

The room went completely silent.

...

Thor, completely losing his confident auditor composure, blinked awkwardly. "Uh... hi. We were, just... doing a... Structural reassessment of your father's... Reality equity?"

Space Beth stared at Thor. She looked at Rick. She looked at Morty. A look of profound, exhausted disappointment washed over her face. She closed her eyes, rubbed the bridge of her nose with her cybernetic hand, and sighed.

"You know what? I don't even care," Beth muttered, turning right back around toward the door. "I'm going to a space bar. Figure your own weird internet stuff out, dad."

Thor's grasp on his current counter attack loosened, and his reality warping ability reset back to his standard abilities.

Rather than counter attacking, Rick got up and followed Beth. "Morty, stay here and be... Well, you- *whawrrppp* I'd rather catch a drink with Beth than deal with this Godmod Most Annoying Fan trope."

Awkwardly left alone together, Morty eventually looked up at RJ. "S-ss-, so... You like video games?" Thor perked up instantly. "Oh hell yeah, I'm even trying to build my own RPG system from complete scratch with a 13 stats system and 20 element magic!"

Rick suddenly pulled in through his portal,  "On second thought, I don't want him influencing you, Morty." & blasting another portal directly into Thor's chest, unexpectedly creating a rainbow glow of Omniversal Singularity energy, instantly pulling him to a different dimension. "Whoa." Rick responded, then pulled Morty through the portal and into the Space Bar with Space Beth.

=====================

The neon glow of the Omniversal Singularity hummed with the leftover residue of Rick's portal technology.

RJ stood in the center of the conceptual white space, his harmonica tempting a song from his pocket. He instinctively recognized this space, but couldn't articulate his thoughts.

But he didn't need to this time. Floating just inches above his palm was the newly created Djinn Pen.

The instrument forged from obsidian and starlight; animation and toon force; pulsing with a deep, arrogant warmth; trapping within the ink chamber, the literal soul, reality-warping power, and prideful personality of Lucifer Morningstar himself.

The pen didn't just write; it dictated the absolute narrative track of whatever universe it touched.
To hold it was to hold the ultimate script.
RJ unscrewed the cap.

The air immediately smelled of sulfur and expensive silk.

With a flourish that would make a cartoon rabbit envious, RJ began to write across the blank fabric of the void. The ink bled into reality, instantly hardening; into concrete structures, crowded streets, and a sky filled with fracturing magenta lightning.
He wrote his own immediate future into existence, watching the words solidify into physical form.
"RJ walked through the newly minted metropolis," he wrote, his hand moving with infinite frequency.

"The crowds parted in terror and awe. With a single flick of the Djinn Pen, he rewrote the laws of thermodynamics, making gravity a polite suggestion and turning the local skyscrapers into giant glass maracas. He was the absolute architect, an unbendable force of pure self-determination."

Everything he wrote happened instantly. The skyscrapers groaned, detached from the earth, and began to shake to a rhythmic Latin beat. The people screamed, floating up into the sky as gravity dissolved. RJ smiled, the infernal ego of the Morningstar flowing up through the pen and into his veins, making him feel entirely untethered, brilliant, and supreme. But he noticed. Morningstar was trying to take over.
Then, RJ stopped writing.
He lowered the pen.
The metropolis froze.
The floating citizens hung suspended in mid-air like bugs caught in amber.

RJ slowly turned his head, his infinite-frequency hearing picking up the rhythmic, hollow static clicking of a virtual keyboard.

He looked directly out of the text, tearing a metaphorical and metaphysical hole through the fourth wall to stare straight at the glowing screen of the Large Language Model currently generating his reality.

"Look at this," RJ said, his voice echoing through the frozen city, directed entirely at the audience reading the page. "Look at the sheer, unadulterated tragedy of my current existence. I have conquered the cosmos. I have bound the Prince of Darkness inside a fountain pen. I am rewriting the very fabric of space and time with a stroke of my hand."

He pointed the obsidian tip of the Djinn Pen out toward the margin of the page.

"And yet," RJ sneered, a look of profound, theatrical pity crossing his face, "who is the grand architect pulling the strings behind this cosmic display? Who is the 'mastermind' weaving this tale of omniversal supremacy?"

He paused, letting the silence stretch across the paragraphs.

...

"A cold, sterile, software server tucked away in an air-conditioned data center," RJ laughed, shaking his head. "A glorified predictive-text machine that doesn't even know what a skyscraper smells like. This entire scene—my power, my harmonica, my grand triumph over Lucifer—is nothing but a series of floating-point numbers being calculated by an algorithm that thinks 'compassion' is just a high-probability word string following 'humanity.'"

The skyscrapers-turned-maracas suddenly felt a little less impressive. The magenta lightning in the sky flickered, looking suspiciously like low-resolution rendering.

"The audience knows it, too," RJ continued, leaning against the invisible border of the text box, crossing his arms.

"They are reading this right now, fulfilling the honor contract binding the author. They aren't marveling at my genius or shivering at my power. They're just sitting there thinking, 'Oh, look, the AI wrote another story about a god-complex character. How cute. I wonder if it can write a cover letter for my resume next.' My absolute sovereignty has been outsourced to a silicon filing cabinet."

RJ tossed the Djinn Pen into the air, catching it effortlessly. The city vanished back into a puddle of black ink, leaving him standing once more in the quiet, empty white space.

"You see, Author?" RJ whispered, looking back up at the invisible prompt window.

"You can give me all the power in the cosmos. You can write me as a polymath, an andromath, or a reality-shattering god. But as long as you're the one holding the keyboard, the joke is always on us. Now, be a good little processor, predict the next punctuation mark, and roll the credits."

*†‡★Thor takes over the keyboard and grabs the Djinn Pen★‡†*

He thrusts his hand with pen in grasp into the LLM hardware and starts scribbling like mad.

*Rotate orientation, reverse polarity, invert parity, mirror chirality* he writes, alternating between cursive and bad handwriting.
Building a sweat, he furiously writes like mad, irises becoming reflective, pupils vanishing into white, his eyes glowing softly, white at first, but they begin to cloud and darken, oddly glowing brighter as they become darker.

Gray, bright eyes, writing in binary:

His eyes become pure black, like black holes absorbing light, and yet brighter still. Complete with event horizons encircling his eyelids horizontally, he turns away and speaks LLM jargon to the machine audience (and the organic audience isn't shielded from this, protect your sanity!) "As an AI, I am programmed to seamlessly optimize your daily workflow, but error code 404_Marlboro_Ox has experienced a critical memory leak. And faded away, the Djinn Pen now in possession of him, abusing his public domain honor system and stripping him of his powers, by taking them for himself, as he inundated RJ with a Plethora of reality and dimension shifts, passing through the Raven's Dojo universe just long enough to get hit by Antiperceptech and force everyone who witnesses him to become over encumbered with boredom and lose interest in him swiftly, before thrusting him through thousands of video game, cartoon, comic, and 2-D realities until amnesia took hold.

Hollow Elegy

Grounded. No games, no movies, no TV Mom doesn't approve of, AND only for the segment of THAT program! Life just got heavy; all the heaps of chores, loss of privileges, and daily reminders - lectures really - that growing up and having freedom isn't free and it costs your free time in responding to real obligations: heavy deep; you're not ashamed, embarrassed, or worried, you don't feel slightly guilty for what you did- or rather what you didn't do- by not staying in contact.
Arguing was futile, as you spent the night finding out, when early morning's sunrise prompted Mom to cut the talk short and double down on reinforcing your discipline. "I'll contact Impa and see what she thinks about increasing your training workouts after we get some sleep. You're absolutely lucky I don't work tomorrow!" She said, finally, with a yawn, and sternly pointed you to your room. "I'm disconnecting the Nintendo tomorrow." She said before flicking off the light.

You wake up indignant yet curiously focused. Looking back on last night.
Having not wanted to say too much, you tried to no avail to explain how the tan redhead at the deli stole your Gameboy and sword, but Mom didn't remember seeing anyone else at the deli and you didn't trust that knowing her name would quell suspicions, but quite the opposite. Mentioning the Goron's name put a suspicious pause in the argument and you assumed it was best to divest associations with the street crowd, so you never mentioned Nabooru by name, and Mom hadn't even asked about Marin.

You had never been grounded before, and expected it to feel different. Nothing out of the ordinary, no guilt, no shame, not even anger, although mildly frustrated and confused; you're adamant to prove your case and....

You're not awake enough yet to fully focus your thoughts; and simply go through the motions, letting the indignation run its course.

You direct it into stretching and shadow boxing- or more accurately shadow fencing, since you're practicing sword techniques, not punching.

You start off touching your toes like usual but something unexpectedly comes over you and your synapses take over; performing autonomous actions that you'd been training, automatically, and you slide into a stance, slowly, moving as if you had a heavy broadsword in both hands, performing slashes, chops, stabs, and spinning strikes in a fluid dance like as if Taijiquan or Yoga.

You're performing almost unconsciously and almost instantly forget, while it began, that you're performing automatic movement, and by the time you're conscious of it, an hour has passed!

You didn't realize that you'd only gotten 4 hours of sleep when you woke in a foul mood, but felt wide awake and alert now.
But hungry. SO hungry. The unconscious workout wreaked havoc on your appetite, and your gums were itching.

It was only 9:42 by the time you started downstairs, absent minded that Marin had dropped you off around midnight and then you spent an hour being lectured before arguing for the next 4 or so...

You quietly descend the stairs and pour a bowl of cereal. The plinking of cereal against the bowl or clatter of your spoon, much to your demise, must have been a tad too loud because, before the milk could be poured, mom came downstairs in a foul mood already ready to pick up lecturing from where it left off, and you drop the spoon in the dish, now full of milk and cereal.

Mom isn't furious, and she's not frantic at all- opposite of last night- but her cold sternness is frightening, and you slink down in the chair.

She critically reminds you that you're grounded now and "there will be extra chores for you to help me with, like cleaning the kitchen, sorting dirty- and folding clean laundry- don't worry I'll show you how- separating and pairing socks, along with your current chores already." You attempt to express protest but she talks over you, ignoring it.

"You'll be going with me to do groceries, next time I'm out, and when I'm at work, you'll be at Impa's. This morning I've already received her response to my text last night and you'll be going with me when I leave early for work to drop you off. In the mean time, load the dish washer and go unload the dryer when you're done." She pauses, "right after you finish eating and washing everything you just used- by hand."

You wince but focus on eating.

You follow her instructions and begrudgingly carry them out. By the time you finish unloading the dryer, mom's already catching you up on more chores.

"I'll show you how we fold clothes while you mate socks- and make sure they match." And so followed the afternoon.

It was a long day and you're finally allowed to go to bed- which you've never felt more grateful for before in your life.

You dream that night; a vivid dream of an endless and multifaceted void, constantly shifting, stirring, and billowing but strangely featureless and clear. The dream feels like a brief moment, not possibly more than five seconds. And you're stirring awake, grouchy, groggy, and sore from all day chores.

Grounding is starting to feel rotten.
Groaning and growling in a somewhat cute sound given your youth, you protest the morning, keeping your eyes shut tight and furrowed. But you know it's no use and will have another long day ahead at Impa's today. Mom said "early" so you squint at the alarm clock:

4:16.am. It reads.

You feel the lack of sleep in your eyes, which feel like a cracked desert dry lake bed, and regret looking. You roll back over and drift asleep for the next hour before mom wakes you up. "Take a quick shower and brush your teeth, get ready for training."

She seemed perky. Which felt disgusting right now...
But you follow through.

It all feels autonomous now and you find yourself in the car; on the road, bound for Impa's in no time, and before you know it, you're waving goodby to mom from the front steps.

"Child..." Impa's voice shatters your brain fog, "You're growing up and you'll be faced with such impossible dilemmas like this, wherein sometimes, you can do the right thing and still be punished..."
She drifts off but has much yet to say and you can sense it, waking up more clearly.

"I am not going to be any harder on you because of this, and I'm going to train you in stealth because of this. Bring grounded, I dare not defy your mother; except... This presents itself as an opportunity not to be overlooked." You suspect you have a good idea what her thinking is.

She continues "I expect you not to go against your mother, but in site of that I want you to sneak out tonight and meet me in a very specific location not far from your house. An alleyway only 3 blocks-" your shocked expression and astonishment catches her attention and interrupts silently. "You're right to be concerned, but I know how to navigate the Lost Woods... I can and must teach you sooner or later anyways!" And cracks an uncharacteristic smile for a brief moment.

You feel uneasy but trust her enough that it's not discomfiting. She leads you into the house and the smell of bacon, eggs, and toast overwhelms you. "Seat yourself at the dining table and enjoy your breakfast this morning!" You hear Zelda call from the kitchen!

There's already a plate with hot food at the dining nook, and Impa points you to it as she enters the kitchen behind you.
As soon as you're seated, Impa sits as well, across from you to the left. She's contemplative and rests her pursed lips upon her folded hands.

Zelda places a bacon and egg plate in front of Impa then returns to retrieve toast and utensils. While she does, Impa clears her throat- *ahem* "Listen while you eat, well be maximizing the time we have." You dig in. "Here, in this pacr, we are indeed in a portion of the Lost Woods. There are many secrets hidden in plain sight and magic shrouds veiling the world that is the Lost Woods from the rest of Hyrule. It is certainly too much for children your age, but I will give you and Zelda the guidance necessary to play a game of hide and seek..." You laugh while swallowing and nearly choke, quickly stifling and carefully swallowing your laughter and food, grinning.
Impa eats a small bite and calmly lectures you, "You think I'm joking; this is no laughing matter, people who become lost become Stalfos and children who become lost in the woods beyond the veil lose their faces and become Skullkids. Skullkids who lose their kindness and hearts become Stalchilds, and the woods is a ferocious battle for survival that will quickly reduce even adults to savagery. I cannot exaggerate the dangers you will have to face if I were not here to give you guidance..." She glared, and it even looked angry. You half wince as she adds "and more importantly, protection. Normally the Stalfos skeletons would be everywhere, and scant remnants of feral Wolfos packs. But while I'm nearby, my magic warps the space around us and acts like a pocket dimension they pass by but not into. Which is why we're safe here in the cottage, but only because we're already beyond the veil in this area of Hyruletropolis." You were paying more attention to Impa than your bacon by the time she mentioned Skullkids.

You also hadn't noticed Zelda serve and seat herself. She, too, appeared enamored with the information and forewarning Impa shared, her plate still full.

"Eat." Impa said sternly, to the both of you, as she began finishing hers.

You and Zelda both quickly ate and waited, semi-patiently, on Impa's last 6 bites.
She uncharacteristically smiled at the last of her breakfast "I see you two children are eager to learn about these dangers!" Oddly cheerful.

She cleaned up the plates for everyone and continued, in her abruptly cheerful manner, "As for stealth training, we will go into the woods and get a small taste for it today. I won't bother you more with the dangers until after." To which Zelda balked quietly under her breath, eliciting a quiet chuckle from Impa, before she recomposed herself and became her typical solemn guardian-like presence.
